Peter has been back in Sydney in recent weeks after playing three Web.Com Tour events in the US and Mexico where he missed two cuts and finished well back in the other.

The last event was in Mexico following which he returned to Sydney from where he will leave for the Rex Hospital Open in Raleigh beginning on June 1st.

Peter's schedule for the following few months includes a run of six Web.Com Tour events ahead of the chance to tee it up at the Senior Open Championship at Royal Porthcawl in Bridgend in Wales beginning on July 27th, just ten days after his 50th birthday.

Peter will then play the Senior Scottish Open at the Rennaisance Golf Club in North Berwick the following week before heading back to Sydney.

Peter is excited about the prospect of playing Senior golf and has heard good things about where he will make his debut at Royal Porthcawl.

Peter in New Zealand for ISPS Handa New Zealand Open

Peter is in Queenstown New Zealand this week for the ISPS Handa New Zealand Open, playing his first event since the Web.Com Tour's Panama Claro Championship in Panama City three weeks ago.

Peter played well enough in the preceeding event inColombia but missed out in Panama although he feels good enough about his game overall.

Importantly for Peter it appears he wil get starts in most of the events for the remainder of the season on the Web.Com Tour as he takes up the category for players of ages 48 and 49 who have sufficient career money on the PGA Tour.

The New Zealand Open is being played over two courses, the host course being the Millbrook Resort and the support course the Hills Golf Club.

Disappointment for Peter in Panama

Peter has missed the cut at the Panama Claro Championship in Panama City in Panama, a horror second round of 77 seeing him miss the weekend by several shots.

Peter has started the week with a solid enough opening round of 71 but although he started his second round in reasonable fashion he began to drop shots late in his front nine and the further he went the worse it got.

Peter will now head back to Australasia and is expected to play the ISPS Handa New Zealand Open in Queenstown beginning on March 9th.

Peter in Panama for Panama Claro Open

Peter is in Panama City in Panama this week for the Panama Claro Open at the Panama Golf Club looking to improve further after a solid start to his 2017 Web.Com Tour campaign last week in Colombia when he finished 39th.

Peter has played this event on several occasions with a best of 7th in 2012, a similar finish would do him a lot of good in terms of ongoing starts on this year's Web.Com Tour.

Peter has a late tee time on the opening day.

Peter looking good for weekend play in Bogota

Peter looks all but assured of making the cut at the Web.Com Tour's Club Colombia Championship at the Bogota Golf Club, his second round of 70 moving him into a share of 41st position.

Although there are many players still to finish round two, after darkness had brought play to a halt, things would have to change dramatically for Peter to miss out on weekend play.

Those required to return on day three to complete their third rounds will likely get good conditions to do so but a birdie at his final hole on day two should give Peter the buffer he needs.
