The event will be the 14th for Peter on this year's Web.Com Tour and with a best of only 16th at the BMW Charity event in North Carolina the year has been a battle although he will get similar opportunities next year as he eyes a career on the Champions Tour in 2018.

Peter is entitled to starts on the Web.Com Tour as a PGA Tour winner in his 48th or 49th year, part of the policy of the PGA Tour to assist former PGA Tour players to prepare for the Champions Tour.

Peter building a little momentum

Peter continues to build momentum in his 2016 Web.Com Tour campaign, making the cut in his last three events including at this week's Nashville Golf Open at the Nashville Golf and Athletic Cub.

The issue Peter now needs to correct is his need to finish events off better but by putting himself into the events each week and playing fours rounds on a more regular basis should assist in getting him to a level where he can begin to produce better results.

Peter finished  50th in Nashville after a last round of 74 and now heads to Rogers in Arkansas for this week's Air Capital Classic presented by Aetna.

Peter is currently 124th on this season's money list after eight events but one good week at this stage with just under half of the schedule remaining could see a quick improvement.

Peter has recorded a 16th place finish at the BMW Charity Pro Am at the Thornblade Golf Club in Greer in North Carolina.

The finish provided Peter with one of his best finishes on the Web.Com Tour for quite some time and as he looks forward to his nest event which is liley to be the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship in the Dominican Republic in two week's time.

Peter began the final round this week within striking distance of the leaders and although unable to build any real momentum it was an overall satisfactory finish.

After a series of ordinary performances in tournaments to date on the Web.Com Tour this season, Peter has found form at the BMW Charity Pro-Am Presented by Synnex Corporation in Greer in North Carolina and when the cut was made at the completion of 54 holes in this rotation of three layouts, Peter finds himself in a share of 12th position heading into the final round.

Peter is just four shots from the lead  held by American Brandy Hagy who has yet to win on the Web.Com Tour.

Peter's bogey free round of 66 on day three moved him up 25 places in the field and highlights a signficant improvement for him.
