Peter has staged a strong recovery in round two of the Cleveland Open in Ohio but has missed the cut by two shots.

Well inside the cut line with just  five holes to play a bogey and a double bogey at the 14th and 15th cost Peter any chance of being around for the weekend.and he must now wait two weeks to see whether he has a start at the Air Capital Classic in Wichita in Kansas.

It was a frustrating way for him to miss just his second cut of the year.

Peter will get another chance this coming week to improve his status on the Web.Com Tour when he tees it up at the Cleveland Open at the Lakewod Country Club in Westlake in Cleveland in Ohio.

Peter continues to make cuts on the Web.Com Tour having made six of the seven cuts in events he has played this season although with a best finish of 50th his goal now is to ensure he improves on his 36 hole status in events and finishes events off well.

Peter makes another cut

Peter has made his 6th cut in seven starts on the Web.Com Tour this season and while that is a good strike rate his problem has been finishing high enough to make an impact on his money list position.

Peter is in 61st position as the BMW Charity Pro Am in Geeer in South Carolina heads into the final round tomorrow and he will need a very low round tomorrow if he is to have any chance of a good finish.

Importantly, however, is that he continues to make cuts and get the opportunity to build on his game.

At this stage Peter does not have a start in next week's Rex Hospital Open and will need to rely on several withdrawals if he is to have any chance of teeing it up next Thursday in Raleigh in North Carolina.

Peter has a start at this coming week's BMW Charity Pro Am Presented by Synnex Corporation in Greer in South Carolina, the larger then normal field ensuring he gets the chance to tee it up.

"I'm looking good for the BMW but am not sure about the following one at this stage," said Peter referring to the following week's Re Hospital Open.

"I'm actually playing pretty good although its a case at present of playing four rounds well instead of just three. Hopefully this week will be an improvement in that regard."

Peter is very excited about his team, The Bulldogs, in the Australian NRL competition, the Sydney based club now atop the ladder.

"The Bulldogs are doing great and I think its NSW's year for the State of Origin,"

After putting in some good work early in the week Peter has struggled with final round of 77 at the South Georgia Classic in Georgia and has finished in 64th position.

Peter mst now wait until later in the week to see if he has a start at the BMW Charity Classic in South Carolina,  although given the larger than normal field he should be ok for the chance th line-up.
