Peter has finished 49th at the NSW PGA Championship at Riveride Oaks, slipping back after an impressive opening round but having made the cut in eight of his last ten tournaments in 2015, it continued an encouraging comeback for Peter.

A 4th place finish at the NSW Open in early November followed three weeks later by a 9th place finish at the Australian PGA Championship were impressive weeks and gave heart to a campaign in 2016 that will include several starts on the Web.Com Tour.

"I thought when I birdied the 15th at Royal Pines to get to 2 over I thought if I could find a couple more and post even par then it might well be the winning score as the golf course was playing really tough on that final day.  Then I made a mistake with my approach at the 17th and, perhaps deflated, I hit a bad drive at the last and in the end was lucky to make bogey really.

Peter eventually finished 32nd on the PGA Tour of Australasia's Order of Merit, which, when it is considered he only played a total of twelve events in 2015 was a solid year.

Peter has continued to have physiotherapy work done on his back since playing his last event and is now gearing himself towatrds starts in the early season Web.Com events in Central and South America.

"I have been told I should get several early season starts as the Web.com Tour make available opportunities for former PGA Tour players at ages 48 and 49 to prepare themselves for the Champions Tour.

"Overall I am pleased with the progress I have made this year and looking forward to getting back into it in what will hopefully be Panama in late January."
